First CressOmatic installated on Holland America Line

We are proud that on 7th of July 2015 on the ship "Eurodam" of Holland America Line the first CressOmatic is installated by PB tec. The CressOmatic is developed by Koppert Cress and PB tec. Lemnis has special LED lighting armatures designed which is used in the CressOmatic.

From 2012 the demonstration model of the CressOmatic was tested by Koppert Cress and PB tec. Holland America Line now have the first model in use of the CressOmatic.

In CressOmatic the cresses can be grown on site. The CressOmatic is a cabinet consisting of three trays and each tray has separately LED and water. The LEDs consist of three different colors which brightness per color can be adjusted separately. In addition, the temperature in the cabinet can also be regulated.

The strength of the CressOmatic is that it can be placed in kitchens, so that the cooks can immediately prepare the food with fresh ingredients. Therefore all cresses can be served fresh.
