The challenges of a project abroad are the logistics and the local availability of good mechanics, to guarantee the quality of our horticulture solutions. In Australia, we have our own branch for local manpower. The work planning, however, is still taking place in the workshop in The Netherlands, because we have more extensive knowledge and experience. Also for realizing 16 hectare of greenhouse horticulture for Katunga Fresh.

After preparation, all materials and products are shipped per boat to Australia, where the preparations in the greenhouse have been implemented. In the final phase, our specialists from the Netherlands have done a last check on location in Australia, and have set it all in operation.

For Katunga Fresh, we have applied water technique and electrical engineering specific to tomato cultivation, such as drop cultivation. Everything is completely automated and controlled by software of our partner Ridder. For Katunga Fresh, a complete team have been working to design, make, implement completely horticulture solutions, and set it in operation.
