Vertical cultivation layers
Built
Against a parking garage

This special project in Jackson Hole, Wyoming consists of a vertical greenhouse that is built against a parking garage and will be used to cultivate different crops. Vertical Harvest was initiated to give the local market a boost and to help people with a disability find employment. Yet another plus is that such a vertical greenhouse in an urban environment looks very attractive.

For PB tec, this was a progressive project in which we designed and applied innovative water technology, electrical technology and lighting solutions. Working with other partners in the horticulture industry, we developed a complete system for making vertical horticulture possible. A large rotating carousel brings the crop toward the employees so they can plant and harvest efficiently within a vertical environment.
